We are a non-profit 501(c)(3)organization dedicated to bridging the gap between public and private education where the fine, visual, and performing arts are concerned.  We service students between the ages of 6-17 years of age with a concentration on at risk youth with the desire to succeed in the arts.

Our education places emphasis on musicianship, vocals, dance and the visual arts.

Our students receive instruction in the above mentioned areas from a talented pool of Detroit area instructors that have dedicated their time and energy towards programs for youth in the Detroit area.

The WIA is committed to the development of students not only through instruction but with performance and participation opportunities as well, in a myriad of events designed to enrich both the student and spectator.
